A related but different perspective on a quiet Saturday.
Yuval Noah Harari has published some interesting books, he looks back over history (Sapiens) then forward into the future (Homo Deus and 21 lessons).
His views of how the human species might evolve into the future are interesting (if they don’t destroy themselves first); they include multiple views on how average length of human life span might increase due to advancements in biotech and tech augmentation.
One of his proposed reasons for this is the normalised used of advanced predictive tests (ie early intervention), in line with the sort of tech that PIQ are close to commercialising. Interesting reads for anyone interested.
