Perhaps a couple of Dow companies file for a Chapter 11 thing, Dex.
Would a left field “something like that” get the Death Cross over the quarter of a mile, fast enough?
I don’t have any particular companies in mind or would even hazard a guess but I don’t think a mass shooting would do it and war in the ME is more likely to shoot the Dow up and up (based on the exposure to profits that some of those Dow companies involved in the armaments arena).
PS I’m very often/mostly incorrect about these things.
