    Yeah, the most likely outcome of JW-1 is dust... but the most likely outcome of 10 different JW-1s is oil.

    It's pretty likely (to put it mildly) that there are undiscovered oil deposits in the Amadeus, and CTP owns nearly all of the Basin. If they put down enough wells they'll find something, particularly since what's considered prospective today (tight reservoirs) wasn't considered as such in the 60s so they never bothered to chase it.

    I just wish they'd stop wasting time and money on this coal nonsense.
