In a recent conference Mark was on a panel of 4 being interviewed and the question on the reuse of graphite from recycled batteries was posed. All 4 agreed that it was a "no go" with Mark mentioned that Talga was able to use small amounts in their Talnode Si, but only to assist in a structural sense.
Perhaps this was a gesture of justification for that £244,000 grant. It also justified Talga including recycled battery graphite onto their manufacturing flow diagram for Talnode Si.
