Yeah, wish I knew who was shorting too. I don't limit a bid for STX to just MIN/Gina either, the Japanese should be interested too. For me, it's a question of timing, if I wanted to take STX out I would do exactly what STX did to TPD, let them spend all their money in development and then take them out just prior to SE going into production. If that is how it pans out, this shorting will continue through 2024. Appraisal wells aren't going to move the needle, they are partly priced into vals already. So, when I see the genuine Exploration wells getting kicked down the road this early in the piece, I bank on them slipping further, and that worries me. If only Ocean Hill was further advanced, still no approval to undertake the Seismic. Anyway, it's pretty easy for us TPD holders, we have a month to watch STX before we need to commit our vote.
