The new battery advancements are good so far as adoption but if they can get much more miles and life out of a battery it is also going to mean less demand for Li longer tierm, they may get to a stage where they need 50% less Li than today for the same battery.
EV's are a fairly new concept and a lot to play out.
Unless the batteries are recycled where do they dispose of them? They are quire toxic after all.
It may not be an EV who sparks a fire but EV batteries burn much hotter than ICE cars so if you have them in underground car parks and be it an act of vandalism or terrorism or not like Luton fire it could brint down an entire massive building in the city. Will they need to ban them from underground car parks?
