8.8.2. Has the entity taken any steps, or does it propose to take any steps, to raise further
cash to fund its operations and, if so, what are those steps and how likely does it
believe that they will be successful?
Yes. The Company is currently in a trading halt and has received firm commitments for a
placement to raise equity capital to provide funding for its operations. In addition, the U.S.
Department of Defense has announced that it has awarded the Company up to US$12.7
million in grant funding via the Defense Production Act Investment Program. The Company
has also received a letter of interest from EXIM Bank for the provisional sum of up to US$11.5
million in funding.
