Abbott does NOT tust Henry or the Treasury - because there was a previous LEAK from Treasury.
There WAS a leak - and it was TO someone in the Labor Party! You can't blame him for not trusting them then. And now he gets clobbered over it by Tony Jones and Katter.
Whilst all those for Labor on here bleat about Abbott (and take the personal attack line - it's his walking style now - never a word about Julia's duck bottom walk!! - well I'll resort to it now!) they seem to all forget that LAbor did a shifty, swift "behind closed doors" deal with the Big 3 miners - and ONLY Labor, i.e. Gillard, Swan, Ferguson, and Tanner, and these Big 3 miners, BHP, RIO, and XSTRATA know what the details of that deal are!!
WE, the investors, don't know. The small miners don't know. How fair is that? How arrogant is that??
Is THAT democratic?? NO!!
So everyone jumps on Abbott (again)because he had a private company audit his figures. But they say zilch about this secret deal - what it entails - and how it is unfair and is going to impede mining activity and investment in this country for evermore!
From Katter's attitude tonight, you;d think Abbott had killed his grandmother - the outrage was so over the top. And he asks for fairness - and good faith?? Hypocrite!
