You are 100% right. Downside is unlimited so need to be accurate. No way they shorted on results and with China deal in background - they knew. Unfortunately funding wasn't sorted.
I wrote this below on the 19th Oct.
1.1mn shorted yesterday which was about 20% of the trading volume from memory. This is highest amount of shorts I have seen in one day. It is not fundamentally based, as the results (cartilage regrowth), were outstanding. The shorts were working overtime to cap/take the momentum out of the stock. Note the random posters who all of a sudden appear from nowhere dropping nonsense into the threads. Luckily we have posters like @bedger. Anyway, let's hope funding is sorted in the next few months via deals .
