Khop, I think you continue to miss the point. (Some) Tpd SHs believe stx's offer is low ball, particularly as it is scrip. They could buy stx if they want to but wish to be invested in other plays which are not chained to stx's merits; or be invested in both as we are. I'm not keen to be at the mercy of shorters for another couple of years.
Of course, an early TO for stx - at the right price - would delight many holders, including me. The govt is currently speaking with its Japanese counterparts. Let's hope this gets the ball rolling.
