In the quarterly, mining at Menzies has apparently commenced, with first sales in CY2024Q1. If this changes before then I would consider such a change to be material and therefore merit an announcement, so until that announcement, full steam ahead.

I think lithium once again is stealing the limelight in the resources space. Punters chasing the next lithium takeover target. A gold developer, even one which is exploring aggressively, struggles against clean energy buzzword juggernauts. Which I am not against clean energy or lithium batteries or copper projects, just mindful they are back in vogue. And of course there is the colossal US battery metal fund which Biden has set up. I have heard many Australian miners are chasing that money. Gold is not sexy unless there is a serious risk of instability. Which... maybe, soon.
