One of the biggest problems with humans is we are susceptible to temptation, we can choose to be good or evil, it can't just be a free for all as humanity would never survive, the evil would enslave the world for their own benefit and kill all the good people they could, there has to be some rules and if i was creator or God and gave humans the freedom to think and choose i would have thought of this problem and given them a rule book of sorts, maybe the ten commandments for example but also have consequences for evil doers because if you don't then the humanity you created will not survive the test of time, it will destroy itself imo.

Thus i don't rule out the underlying meaning or Truth within the Bible because it has mechanisms and prophecy in line with what i said in above paragraph.

I think in all generalness we are on the same page in a lot of things though and the Bible never forces anyone or try to control them it basically says your free to choose to live how you want but if you live an evil existance or break the ten commandments he'll have consequences for you at some point in time. It's sort of as much freedom as you could hope for.

But anyway i'm still thinking about it all.
