My amateur analysis of the top 20 in the 2023 annual report vs 2022. Worth noting the list in the AR is as of 25th September 2023 so fairly recent

Green - holding increased / Orange - holding decreased / Red - no longer in top 20 / Grey - no change to holding



With so much hidden behind nominee accounts it's hard to draw any conclusions from it
-Top 20 has consolidated a bit, now 45% of total shares on issue vs 43% in 2022. But we know there still isn't a single beneficial owner with >5%
-Since the previous AR Talga was added to the asx 300 (March 2023) so there will be some more index funds within the nominees accounts now
-Merrill Lynch and Brispot (UBS) both dropped out of top 20
-Yandal (Mark Creasy) participated in a placement but didn't fully pro-rata his % ownership over the two placements
-3 new entries at the bottom of the top 20. Brief googling suggests the Neweconomy account at no.20 is connected to Kerry Stokes: afr link

Would be nice to see an up to date list of top 20 beneficial owners. Has anyone requested one lately?
The short "major shareholders" list that is in the presentations hasn't been updated since April.

Anyone got any insight or corrections?
