You're missing the point. Ash purchased Linc less than 4 months ago. Now they have lost their major contract - effective end of month. It's not just the impact on Ash's bottom line, it's also that it looks like poor due diligence. The purchase price carried a fair whack in intangibles that are now worth next to nadir. The market seldom rewards incompetence, and that is what this looks like.
