The timing of this announcement by Quinbrook - well couldn't be better IMO. Building a domestic polysilicon manufacturing facility I'd always figured was logical as the enormous demand the Elliott/Suncable farm will have on solar panels would make so much sense to be local.

In fact local raw materials & glass, aluminium maybe even steel & concrete depending what sort of mounting system & dare I suggest inverters....
