How technical do you want to get with drop shipping. There are multiple models from manufacture, wholesale and retail but originally it was defined as using 3PL - not your own DC.
It is drop shipping IMO 100% , it is not physically avaliable in store to purchase . Small numbers held ata couple of DC and onbly if sales demand is there will more DC get it .
There are only a couple fo posters who have failed to understand this and have kept trying to talk it up.
Very much a case of careful who you listen to.
I haven't fully listened to webinar but did fast forward through it from a mates live copy but sound was poor .IMO there was a lot of body language tells and avoiding full answers and sounded like it was directed at retail as it was dumbed down .
Nothing in the webinar says to me urgency to invest further especially in regards to "proptotype" still being programmed and not out to prospective clients or FDA lodged . So what does 4 mill get you these days !!
PS Regarding a question in a post the other day 8 years ago it was about $40 a display by them and there was a fee for set up and disposal. Unless you area permanent fixture in walmart the displays from my knowledge can't be electronic , lit or batteries or powered these days although you do see some from teh majors even soem fancy solar ones that work of shop lighting. As you know Walmart don't lose and will not allow a poor selling product to hand around fpr long without , going to shelf spend , advertising spend and slow moving wharehouse charges.
If that display is a few months turnover it says a lot about their real internal opinion of initial turnover of product.
