Now that we have this so-called biochip, we need to prove it can actually detect ANYTHING! I'm getting nervous that this is moving into Disallowed territory. Where's our partnership with a reputable medical researcher than can actually put this thing through its paces?
How do we translate electrical signals into discreetly recognisable markers? There's a MASSIVE gap to be filled regarding how these nano-scale sensors can actually sense unique complex proteins or something to that effect. It's a terrifying combination of statistics and machine learning. very complex coding. And frankly, there hasn't been a great deal of explanation as to why measuring electrical signals at a nano scale actually provides any meaningful leverage or utility at all.
Can anyone site any academic papers that can calm my nerves?
