Its just a game of market cap + potential for money to be made.
GMN seem to be taking their time and methodically working through the ground, I believe they know there is an economically mineable resource on their tenements, maybe several, and they're chasing it starting from step #1.
I'm actually quite impressed with their approach, but it takes time.
