First of all, I am not experienced enough to comment on the science so my post is not about that.
While I admire your enthusiasm for Leslie Chong, I find it difficult when you say she is 'amazing' at her job. As a communicator, when LC speaks, nearly every sentence is full of grandiose and inappropriate language. It is peppered with exaggerations that don't make sense in the English language to me. I think I even heard her describe something as 'highly beautiful' She speaks like it is the thing you say it shouldn't be - a popularity contest.
When I have dealt with people in business, I am always weary of this kind of person as they tend to sell a myth and are grasping at straws by trying to inflate something. I always ask myself - do they believe in what they are saying? Also, I am distrustful of someone who uses 'my' and 'I' a lot which LC also does. It is all too egocentric for her own good and it is wise to remember the company is bigger than a single person.
IMU is fascinating and they could make a movie about the company on the debate on here alone. Hopefully, IMU is a company which contributes to beating cancer but there needs to be a realistic approach to the people involved in this company. Personally, I struggle to put faith in the combination of PH and LC for reasons other than the science but let's hope the science prevails for all and LC realises the science is good enough to speak for itself.
The people running a company are just one of many important facets when judging a company. Every horse gets benefits from a top jockey.
One way or another, IMU will go down in history.
