I would only sell 20% x 97.5 (and keep your 80% for the 12 months capital gain discount) thereby reducing the average holding costs back below 25 cents each
I would then only sell balance before 12 months term on a ‘stop loss’ at 50 (which I can’t see happening at the moment!)
