pfffffffffft
"'(Battery electric vehicles) make sense right now in places like Norway where most energy is renewable and incomes are high but Australia is not Europe,' he said.''
so, Australia doesn't have high incomes ------- someone has worked out that Australia is a poor country at last - and not Europe eh?
And as far as not suitable, but Norway is -
well, Oslo has about 600,000 people and they don't use cars as much as ozzies -
but Sydney has 5.3 million people and cars belching gas everywhere every day
Melbourne has 5 millions people belching gas cars every day
so, I reckon that Australia - aside from being poor - is probably better suited for EV's ---
car addicted, packed cities -------------- sounds more like EV country to me
