Why did I not sell at 3.50 ? SQM will not walk away from AZS. They know what is in the ground. And in the meantime many others know.
SQM was lucky to get the initial package in January cheap - but then they got greedy. The offers at 2.30 and then 3.50 were a joke, not good enough. If they would have come up with an offer around 6 - 7 AUD they might have succeeded in getting the scheme through. Now this will become a bidding war. Big thanks to the architects of this scheme of arrangement & the conditions in case of failure of the scheme !!! I don't know who all the guys behind the contract were, but I am pretty sure TR and MC had a big say in it.
SQM will most likely become the industrial leader in that Azure mining project, but they will have to deal with some big shareholders who will also not walk away anymore... and I might still be a shareholder of that company when they are entering production...
