Just imagine this if you can..because I know for goldbugs it could be a tad difficult.

In 1720 you give a chunk of gold to your kids and tell them to pass it on to their kids etc. because gold's 'real money'. And in 2023 it's matched the CPI.

But in 1720 someone else tells the kids to buy a property in London, rent it out, pass it on and don't sell it.
