Takeda won't be trying to spin the result as a success. They will honestly tell their shareholders it was a failure despite the promising earlier results and drop the research and take te financial hit. They will then do new research on an alternative treatment, which is the responsible approach to managing shareholders funds. Osiris must have been over the moon when SI came along with his cheque book offering to buy the rights to Prochymal.
