agree to disagree. But the true market is buy and sell.
The intention of the holder is that the price goes up.
The shorter sells borrowed shares to push the price down. Let me rent a house and sell, then buy back. Use the options market if you have negative sentiment.
We have all been involved in circumstances that are just an institution borrowing shares and shorting. Why are we going down with good news? etc etc.
But let's leave this argument for LTR conversation to continue. Me as an investor, buy and hold and believe shares I buy will be worth more in the future. Others can short and trade and muck around. Options were created for this reason.
