If you are ever bored, try filleting carp, soak the fillets in milk (gets rid of muddy taste if it has any - some don't if they come from clean, running water) overnight in the fridge, mince it and make fish burgers. Just normal burgers, add some fried or fresh chopped onions, garlic, couple of eggs, bread crumbs (to gel it together) spices to your liking and fry them. You WILL be very surprised. We made some for fiends few years ago, they had no idea what fish it was (but they stated previously how carp was crap), and they absolutely loved them. Try once, you will see how tasty (and healthy) they are.
