I rationalise that there are many reasons to sell a stock but really only one reason to buy. Given the massive increase in sp in recent years there must be some profit taking on the table, as people (such as myself) have to live in the interim! Selling pressure is always the giant in the room, can affect sp far more markedly than buying pressure (which is often tentative ) at times and quite often has nothing to do with value.
