Agree with your sentiment but it's futile to push a piece of string ... in this case ABC are located at the far end of the string.

I watch ABC a bit and am constantly disappointed in the tiny ASX coverage ... invariably they mention the big player's tiny daily movements, the likes of BHP, CSL and AMP. Boring and well-covered elsewhere. Occasionally, a smaller player will be mentioned, but usually if they have crashed and burned that day.

Koehler could do a lot better for himself and his viewers to use a few seconds of his slot on ABC TV news to mention a few ASX minnows when they make a tiny splash.

Instead, after he rattles through the standard FX and global market indicators (why bother?) he seems to delight in using his 'creative' time by juxtaposing a couple of obscure (but to him, fascinating) graphs and finishing by shrugging and delivering a lame line like 'Who knew?'.
