To be better than "the racists" you must believe that race is irrelevant in judging people. To encourage others to forget race you will fail if you condemn ANY group on the basis of their origin. All you do is make "the racists" more confirmed in their beliefs, and at the same time show yourself to hate a particular group of people (in this case the whites). ie. effectively it makes you a racist.
Getting back to my point: 1. I'm happy for immigration 2. I am happy for refugees to settle here 3. I'm strongly against ANYONE profiting from profiting from refugees and risking the refugees lives 4. We have found a man of good character - why not settle him here now? I find it strange I'm having an argument about racism when I've declared my preference to have a particular non-white settled here.
