- Any station tool like the MDT carries a higher risk of getting stuck although you'll find that in a majority of cases its the cable that gets stuck not the tool. The MDT is also a "fat" tool since you're trying to bundle a sh*t load of hydraulics, electronics and things like sample chambers and pressure guages into a tool with an OD small enough to go down a 6" hole (in theory).
- We've managed to get at least 3 previous runs off with the only issues being a minot tool issue and a hole bridge that was cleared with a wiper trip. Pretty much a routine wireline operation so far from my experiences.
