Ann: DTC Election process, page-84

I was already a Westpac customer.
My domestic trading application (which included the trading account) was submitted 28/9/2023 and was approved 3/10/2023 (3-4 business days)
Global trading account application was submitted 6/11/2023 and was approved 12/11/2023 (4-5 business days)

I believe this is the closing date to submit the DWAC if your DTC election was successful. If this is missed it looks like it reverts to the Computershare path but I can't seer that specifically written on the CBR FAQ page.

It seems the only people that have received the Computershare email are those that did not make a valid DTC election. I assume this is sent to the email address Linked Market Services have on file for the holding.
