imo it's a bit of all of that but the manipulation coupled with the TPD deal is most of it, the Arb HF are buying tpd & shorting STX as can be seen in the
large increase in the short position from the 14 Aug to now of 132m. on the tpd thread some are saying Gina is going to spoil the deal, i hope that happens as the HF who are shorting STX wont end up converting their TPD share to STX & wont have the stock to cover the shorts so will have to buy STX on market
