Not so sure - going into a very large underground operation that has been on care and maintenance requires a lot of expertise to unlock value compared to running an open pit operation. There have been some spectacular failures such as MetalsX buying the Nifty copper mine thinking that they could do it far better than the previous operators but they eventually realised that it was just too hard and its sitting on care and maintenance now - and is basically embarrassing MetalsX.
