You raise a good point. I think although we're in a tough economic environment, there are some positive catalysts that could assist JHX and the overall construction industry. Below are what comes to mind but not in any order of importance:
1. Supply issues - ie. lack of housing for growth in populations across a few major countries
2. Global Housing Affordability - Feeds into the above supply issue; so incentives to drive construction such as zoning reforms, public/private partnerships and other incentives.
3. Increased Infrastructure Spend (especially in the US)
Historically Economic recovery = stimulation of the construction industry
