This post caught my attention. Not as one of those miraculous 'they're walking' or "they're talking' posts, but more as a reality check and the need to keep life in perspective. What we take for absolute granted can be seen a huge breakthrough for others. Humbling. I hope this family get much more joy from continued improvement.

the first time in over a YEAR that I’ve seen Olivia rock herself and move her body back and forth in this way. At a recent Rett gathering I talked with a sister who mentioned she remembered loving watching her sister rock back and forth, and I realized then that Olivia no longer did that - and I didn’t even know when she stopped. I never thought I would be seeing her doing this again. Truly. Having an 18 month old at home I know how miniscule this might seem, but this is such a win for her. It’s definitely a win for our family. I credit this huge step forward to #daybue
