I have about 25 avos , agree best to get grafted plants , suppose to have one different variety for every 25 to improve pollination , personally I would get one of the dwarf varieties next time as easier to pick from
Need to make sure the soil is not compact around the tree when planting , I put gypsum in the bottom of the hole about 400mm deep and need to protect against frost with a temporary cover for where I am .
