Like Paul Keating said, the 350 billion deal for American subs means there will be no money for any nation building or economic transformation projects for next 4 decades. So basically Australia is stuck in this grind to keep raising taxes wherever they can find while accumulating debt with no long term vision for at least 4 decades.

Economics is fast changing, and politicians need to have long term vision. China started investing in EV two decades ago because they had a vision. Instead the only visions politicians have in Australia is coming up with more red tape to create more tax rules wherever they can find to pay for American weapons.
