He certainly has an air of understated authenticity about the way he presents himself. To his credit he doesn’t come across as a manipulative salesperson sprinkling his wares where his bow tie is spinning around and he can’t look you in the eye.
Who knows how he presents at himself at meetings, I am just of the belief that for some CEO’s and even for some other cultures eg. Korean and Japanese in particular, how you present yourself is a sign of respect for the people you are dealing with.
Saying that I know there are people like Richard Branson and Elon Musk who seem get away with a certain look. Hopefully DM sees himself predictively in that sort of company.
