I listened to the Bushfires Royal Commission and guess what - the biggest problem was information - maps, predictions and so on
lol. the biggest problem was dysfunctional management and poor process. Nixon was doing dinner whilst others were looking for these so called problem maps. The most damning thing to come out of the report was management.
I have worked with spatial mapping and I can tell you the mapping technology today is amazing. Just look at what Google can do for everyday consumers. Fantastic.
