With their placements and trading L1 have picked up approx 14% for what ? 20-30 mil?
What makes anyone think the majors will come in with a huge takeover offer.
If they become really interested, they will do the same. Take a stake in a placement like L1 as that will be their cheapest entry. After they that everyone pays more.
Until they show their hand this will stagnate because the likes of L1's have deeper pockets than retailers.
Retailers are just how these funds finance their next placement position.
