    Yes, I was already kind of surprised at last year's rebate, considering that most of the BLG is now in the US. The rebate is a tax incentive to encourage high-tech industries in Australia, not the US. I'm sure this will be why the ATO is taking a closer look at the claim.

    We should not be rating an investment on it's ability to attract tax incentives and subsidies, but of course the market does it all the time. I regard them as a "nice to have", but what the government giveth, the government also taketh away. I want to see an investment stack up on it's own merits, and I'm not at all worried about BLG.

    All IMO.
