Today's harvest update:

A week ago I suggested Queensland might 'make' 450,000 tonnes into GNC sites. Even that may be an overestimate given GNC's comment today that the last receivals are 'trickling in'.

It also states that input is 'slowing' in northwest NSW, so we can deduce not much more to come out of that major granary.

Central NSW, the Riverina and Victoria should all be quite good to excellent, the latter being best.

But three days before what may be a well received GNC major announcement, one's view that final receivals will be significantly down on last year has not altered. A drop of at least 20 per cent may be on the cards but those in rural Oz will have a better idea than urban individuals.
