On wireline you'd normally acquire pressures first working down and then take samples coming back out. If youre running TLC you might change that plan to minimize movement of the drill pipe or for other reasons.
Its possible enough pressures (minimum of 3 generally) were taken to enable confirmation of a gas gradient and also to select a sample point with decent mobility.
