What I am not a fan of is management doing deals that keep themselves employed on cushy salaries at the expense of future shareholder returns. It is all too easy in this industry to do deals that provide some upfront cash that give away all the upside.
My interests are 100% aligned with all the shareholders, the major difference between me and some shareholders is I am a little more willing to wait if the potential payoff is large enough - a bird in the hand is not worth more than 5000 in the bush.
