The links to China in this goes way back in Geological Time. It's such a well-studied location so the Crown (SA and Au Goverments) can not claim that all this is new and needs further investigations etc before approval is given. Despite it being a "new" gas project its one that was started when the Telford Basins coal-shale to oil potential was looked at in the 1890's. IMHO it's in the State's and the Planet's best interest if this Carbonaceous Mudstone -Oilshale - Coal deposit is finished off by ISG rather than it be left for natural forces to reduce it to ashes.
