Not as much, but I didn't have a pool, a home theatre, a dishwasher, 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a 3 car garage, landscaping, split system A/C's, Miele kitchen appliances and a fridge that's connected to the internet. I also didn't have a new car and caravan that I purchased using the house equity I increased during times of lower interest rates.

Basically, I lived in a shoe box and drove a jalopy that got me from point A to B with no air conditioner.

I started adding all that stuff after I paid off the shoe box.

Then I went on a holiday and had smashed avo/poached eggs on Ciabatta bread (decorated with all those those fancy trimmings) with a caffè latte or two.
