I haven't been posting much for the last month or two because frankly, there hasn't been anything positive to say and people around here get pissy at you unless you're bullish (they'll always love bulls especially in bearish situations where they're basically adoring a Judas goat). A couple of months ago people here were arguing with me when I said lithium prices could well go lower and I didn't see any guarantees of a price floor people were talking about. I really didn't want to be right, but we have indeed fallen over the last two months.

Looking at the chart over the last two months (below) as well as the markets, demand, inventories, etc, I can't see any clear reason to think the trend is over.

I'd much rather be posting extremely bullish material and I know I'd be loved for it even/especially if I was completely wrong, and I do hope lithium prices bounce as soon as possible, but other than hope I can't see any reason to see that we've hit the bottom.

I'm not sure what lithium prices will be like in a year or two but before then I'm not bullish. The best cure for high prices is high prices and we recently had very high prices. Of course, the best cure for low prices is often low prices so we might see prices rise, but the lag is likely to take 1-2 years or more since there is a long lead time between the start of a project and that project putting lithium into the market. Lithium prices don't have a huge impact on the price of EVs so prices themselves aren't critical in determining EV production/sales - we need production due to demand to increase beyond the lithium supply for prices to increase.

Either way, AGY urgently needs to get production online before a CR is required or it faces disaster; raising capital while lithium prices are low and production has failed for so long wth such severe missing of targets would be very difficult and expensive.
