Regardless of anyone's personal opinion of Hopper, its been a decade and he hasn't been able to attract proper, long-term institutional investors and is still reliant on Bell Potter (the ambulance chasers of the investment community). He's just not taken seriously be blue-chip investors. Getting a new chairman can only help

People claiming Hopper's genius in identifying all these wondrous biotech investments, neglect the fact that after two decades of licensing these technologies and listing them in Australia, he's over $300m in the red. He's raised over to $800m across all of these companies and their multiple capital raises, and only returned VLA ($500m). Were it not for Merck's mistake in acquiring VLA, he's be $800m in the red (and when I say "he" I of course mean his shareholders. Even I have to admire Hopper's true genius in personally making 100s of millions while his overall scorecard remains in the red).

IMU may end up being successful, but it will only be if Professor Fong is successful. This won't change regardless of whether Hopper is in charge.

You also have to consider that the Board has overseen ongoing massive spend on products that won't be commercialised. A lot spent on "shots on goal" that have all missed to date ...

So many of the Hopper defenders are those genius long-term investors who bought into IMU at +/- 1c. What all of them conveniently forget is that their investment was made on the back of HER-Vaxx. CF33 wasn't even a thing. Yet Hopper's genius is apparently identifying and acquiring CF33 and his failure with HER-Vaxx and the B-cell platform goes unmentioned.
