The employment number might be "fake" in the sense that they are more complex than they appear. Theres no distinction between full and part time., and no measure of how many jobs people need to make ends meet.

Australia Jobless Rate Edges Up to 3.7% in October
Australia's seasonally adjusted unemployment inched up to 3.7% in October 2023, accelerating slightly from September's three-month low of 3.6% and in line with market consensus. The number of unemployed individuals increased by 27.9 thousand to 547.8 thousand, as people looking for full-time jobs was up by 31.5 thousand to 369.4 thousand while those seeking part-time jobs dropped by 3.5 thousand to 178.5 thousand

Multiple Job Holders and Part Time Workers
During the early part of an economic growth cycle, the number of people needing multiple jobs declines as full-time jobs become more plentiful. As the cycle gets extended and the job market tightens, some people are forced to take on multiple jobs. Currently, the number of multiple job holders is at a record high. More telling, as a percentage of the total number of employees, it is the highest since the financial crisis.
