You must submit the DWAC. I don't think anything will happen until you do.
I was charged USD100 for the DWAC. I had the money to cover it in my AUD account, but in fact they took it out of my USD account after I'd sold some. My guess is everyone will be charged the USD100 at some point.
I left the dropdown as Long. I assume this refers to whether you are long (own shares) or shorting the stock.
